Laura Bloomberg (BEd Hons, Dip RSA) has had over 25 years’ teaching experience in state and private schools. She is a specialist dyslexia teacher (Level 5 OCR) and assessor (Level 7 OCR).

Laura is a member of the the ‘Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties’ (PATOSS) and holds a practising certificate. Laura has worked for a Local Authority Outreach Service supporting schools to remove barriers to learning for pupils with specific learning difficulties. She holds the Level 3 Elklan Speech and Language qualification. Laura is an accredited trainer of several evidence-based interventions including: FFT Wave 3 Literacy, Write Away Together and the Inference Training – A Reading Comprehension Intervention. Laura is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, School of Education. Laura delivers the Level 5 Diploma in ‘Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/Specific Learning Differences.
